Vegetable Notes (updated 9-1-11)-

"Stuckmeyer Sweets" onions are available now.  We had a great year again.  Onions have nice size this year.  If you have not tried these, they are something that is only available at Stuckmeyers.  They are wonderful on the grill.  Just core them and add a pad of butter then wrap in aluminum foil.  Put on the grill for about 20 minutes and they are ready.

It has been a warm and dry summer.  Tough year for both the vegetables and for us that have to work out in it everyday.

We are starting to get things ready for Farm Fun Days that will start at the end of September and run through the end of October.

 We had so many onions last year will we ran out of space to hang onions, we ended up with  overflow in shed hanging them with a ladder! (notice roll bar of tractor)
